Ted Maul have been busy writing and rehearsing new songs for the upcoming debut album, to be released on a very lucky label who don't even know it yet. In the meantime, check the gigs page for upcoming shows

NEWS FRIDAY APRIL 1st 2005

Ted Maul have returned alive (just about) from their uk tour with God Forbid and Extol and would like to say a massive thank you to everyone for turning up early to the shows to catch Ted Maul and for making the tour an amazing first proper tour for us,thanks to everyone for their support at the gigs and a massive massive thank you goes to each individual in Extol and God Forbid for being so safe and having proper jokes with the Ted all over England, as well as the men behind the scenes...Adam Sagir (Lighting/Tour Manager extaorinair!) Dirty dirty Larry ( Drum Tech / Proffesional Teen Scarer) Billy Bomba (Sound Engineer / Professional JD Drinker!and Artist!) Adam Fenton (Fruit fighter/Drivertech) Geordie (Navigator)

Cos we forgot we didnt take any photos on this whole tour (idiots) so if anyone did could you mail us them and we will credit you if we put them up...

We are so sorry that we had to cancel the show on sunday at Electrowerkz,Solomon was as ill as a leper Luca crashed the van and Reeves' sampler was fuc*ed from the Liverpool show where it mysteriously did a stage dive...Bloody technology crazier than the Kids!

Also a massive thank you to everyone who made it down to the TV shoot in Bovril (oh man...) a few weeks ago...what a ridiculous day that really was! but seriously it will be a day you wont forget for a while!!! We will post the date its gonna be on TV as soon as we know...

And to anyone who was at the book signing of Albert Mudrian's Choosing Death on March 16th at Rough Trade (check it we got in Kerrang!) Many thanks to Albert and everyone at the shop and a special shout goes out to Dean from Capricorns for hookin us up with it...safe!

We are now concentrating on writing new material in the hope of airing some of it at our gig on April 21st at the Underworld with Labrat and the The Great Deciever....

We are booking gigs at the mo, just waiting for some confirmations so check the gig page...

Hi! Firstly a big thank you and safeness to everyone who was at fridays Mean Fiddler show with Labrat We had an amazing laugh and Dan Ropeman would like to say safe to everyone who witnessed his drop during the beatdown in Spherical...In the past week we have been recording one of our newer songs "A Catalogue Of Wasted Opportunities" at wav.pimp studios,this track will be available as part of a 5 Track CD also featuring: "Spherical lie" "Gutting The Reason" "And We Tolerate The Sickness" and a Drum n Bass Remix of "And We Tolerate The Sickness" This CD and the first ever Ted Maul Shirts will be available on the road, we have a menswear range and also a beautiful selection for the ladies....Thanks to Mog for the back print design,Respect

Greetings! And a belated happy nu year!! A few gigs have been added to the gigs page so have a look if your in town, Ted Maul are also very pleased to announce their opening slot with God Forbid in March for their UK tour, much mayhem and metal is anticipated !!

News 8th Dec 2004 Ted Maul have recently made it back alive from their two shows with Deicide (London /Manchester) and their show in Newcastle with Blunt Wound Trauma and Nails For Christ. An amazing time was had by all and a big shout out goes to the Deicide crew, Marios and Cameron, Adrax, John Vyner, Skinny and all the safe people we met in Manchester and Newcastle (and London!). All hailz to Greg "gotta eat" for driving the mandrill van of death and to Kat in Manchester for putting up the ted crew!

 

TED MAUL TO APPEAR ON BBC 3!!!

On Monday 14th March Ted Maul will take part in the filming of a new programme to be aired on BBC3 later in the year,
playing live in a scene involving a stage-diving young lady...More news to follow...

Any interested paries who would like to appear in the audience of the show are more than welcome (although there are limited spaces)
Free food and booze will be provided on the day and filming will be at a location in London

News Nov 23rd 2004 Last nights gig with Cataract Maroon and Just One Fix at the Barfly in Camden was a blinder a good laugh was had by all it was good to finally start playing live after so long! Big shout goes out to all the bands and to all of you who came out and enjoyed the night! Again big respect the Cataract, Maroon and Just One Fix guys for help with equiptment,same goes for our brothers in the Ak and Labrat,and of course Karlos the Jackyl for engineering for the mandrills! Safe! Ted

News Nov 14th 2004 Last Sunday Ted Maul played their first ever gig at The Old Angel in Nottingham supporting the legendary death metal kings of New York Suffocation. Added to the bill at the last minute after the cancellation of openers Phantom Limb Management the band thorughly enjoyed it and a good laugh was had by all. Big respect goes out to the Suff boys for being so safe and playing an amazing show! Ted also played a one off open rehearsal style show in their practice room over the weekend for a few people curious to hear their music, thanks to those of you who made it down..
